You will ensure customer satisfaction, provide accurate information, and coordinate with engineering and purchasing teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business admin, office admin, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business customer support.
• Great attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills.
• Good working knowledge of part numbers.
• Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates initiative and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Provide quality quotations, stock availability, order confirmations, and shipping information.
• Research and prepare incoming orders with correct part numbers, descriptions, addresses, payment terms, and prices.
• Provide prompt, thorough responses and follow-up for all situations, including machine down events.
• Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Coordinate with internal teams and engineering to define specifications per customer requests.
• Coordinate with field service and European counterparts to ensure parts availability before onsite visits.
• Work toward achieving yearly parts sales forecasts and gross profits.
• Maintain awareness of machines in territory to suggest spare parts and maintenance quotes.
