Job summary

Tidewater Fleet Supply | TNT Parts is seeking a dependable Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team in a full-time role. You will assist walk-in and phone customers, locate parts using catalogs and computer systems, process orders, and respond to pricing and availability inquiries.

You’ll also support warehouse tasks, stock parts, and help ensure accurate order fulfillment. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn our product

Qualifications

• Provide excellent service to walk-in and telephone customers by understanding their needs and helping them find the right parts.
• Identify and locate parts using catalogs, interchange information, and our computer systems.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to parts, pricing, availability, and order-status questions.
• Locate and source non-stocked parts when needed.
• Process buyouts and special orders for customers.
• Develop knowledge of product lines to make recommendations and better serve customers.
• Follow up on customer needs and work with team members to resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Keep both customer-facing and warehouse sides running smoothly.
• Help maintain a clean, organized counter and customer area.
• Receive incoming freight and verify shipments for correct parts and quantities.
• Stock products in assigned warehouse locations and pull/stage orders.
• Verify outgoing orders have correct parts and quantities.
