Job summary

TRU LAND Equipment is seeking a parts counter associate to deliver outstanding customer service while selling parts to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. You will assist customers at the counter, on the phone, and internally, ensuring accurate orders and timely communication on pickup or delivery.

The role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks, work weekends, and operate a forklift when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; agriculture-related degree preferred.
• 1+ years of parts sales or related experience.
• Strong customer service and rapport-building skills.
• Basic understanding of the selling process and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter and on the phone with parts selections.
• Provide accurate information on parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
• Process orders in-store and online, updating customers on status.
• Support inventory control through cycle counts and stocking accuracy.
• Promote parts promotions and upsell related parts or accessories.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom and assist in merchandising.
