Job summary

TRULAND Equipment is seeking a Parts Associate to sell parts over-the-counter and support the service department. You will deliver exceptional customer service, process orders, and assist with inventory and showroom upkeep at our Indiana location.

Preferred candidates have 1+ years in parts or related sales, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with forklift experience helpful. This full-time role responds to a fast-paced, team-driven environment and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Agriculture degree preferred.
• 1+ years Parts experience or equivalent sales/service.
• Experience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image, and rapport.
• Basic selling process understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently; team-friendly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Valid driver's license; insurance-qualifying driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general apps.
• Ability to use a handheld barcode scanner.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift operation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter, on the phone, and internally.
• Maintain professional relationships with peers, management, and support resources.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Engage with the parts promotions and upsell related parts or accessories.
• Process orders accurately for in-store and online purchases.
• Communicate item availability and delivery status to customers.
• Assist inventory responsibilities and showroom presentation.
• Support manager with department processes and merchandising.
