Job summary

Palmen Motors Kenosha Campus is seeking a Parts Counter Advisor to support our Parts Department. You will assist customers and the service team in locating parts, pricing, billing, and inventory control.

Experience selling auto parts is preferred but not required. The role rewards attention to detail, strong customer service, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our Kenosha location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred).
• Experience selling auto parts is preferred although not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Converse effectively/efficiently to customers and employees regarding customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
• Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.

About The Position

Reporting to our Parts Director, our Parts Counter Advisor is an integral part of our Parts Department responsible for the sales and inventory process. Success in this role requires attention to detail, passion for customer satisfaction, and the ability to problem solve. You'll be expected to assist both our customers and our service department in locating needed parts, some of which can be challenging to attain in today's market. Pricing, billing, and inventory will also be an important part of the process. Experience selling auto parts is preferred although not required.
