Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring a Parts Coordinator to manage parts for each repair order and ensure a smooth customer experience. You will verify parts quality, quantities, and timely delivery while coordinating with vendors and the shop.

The role requires 1–3+ years of parts experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MIS systems. Growth opportunities are supported with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts as indicated on repair orders confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop according to the production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the RO# and store them with the vehicle or scheduled repairs.
• Communicate all Parts Price Changes to required team members.
• Order and receive supplemental Parts in the MIS and monitor performance of parts, materials and sublet vendors.
• Daily reconciliations of the parts vendor invoice history report.
• Post and file invoices and credit memos promptly.
• Ensure negotiated discounts appear on vendor invoices to maintain margins.
