Job summary

VIVE Collision is seeking a Parts Assistant to manage ordering, receiving, processing, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. You will work closely with the General Manager, estimators, and technicians to resolve parts-related issues and ensure timely deliveries.

This role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced collision repair shop.

Qualifications

• 3 years parts experience preferred.
• Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments.

The Parts Assistant is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. Working closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Technicians for issues that are parts-related within the shop.

Job Requirements

• Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements
• Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
• Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed
• Drive parts related KPI’s
• All other duties assigned
