Job summary

VIVE Collision seeks a Parts Assistant in New Jersey to support the repair process by ordering, receiving, and monitoring parts. You will work closely with the General Manager, estimators, and technicians on parts-related issues to keep a smooth workflow in the shop.

Role emphasizes accurate parts knowledge, timely communication with vendors, and contributing to KPI achievements in a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Qualifications

  • 3 years parts experience preferred.
  • Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
  • Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements.
  • Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
  • Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed.
  • Drive parts related KPI’s.
  • All other duties assigned.

Job description

The Parts Assistant is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. Working closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Technicians for issues that are parts-related within the shop.

Job Requirements
  • Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements
  • Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
  • Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed
  • Drive parts related KPI’s
