Job summary

Q3 Contracting, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is seeking a Parts Coordinator in Little Canada, MN to support shop and field operations with parts ordering, inventory control, procurement, and warranty management.

You will standardize parts activities, manage minimum/maximum inventory levels, negotiate with vendors, and maintain the parts master in the Parts Management System while ensuring timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales or auto and equipment sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parts ordering, procurement, inventory, warranty, and distribution.
• Manage minimum/maximum parts inventory for shop and field.
• Negotiate with vendors via National Accounts management.
• Manage parts warranty process and credits.
• Maintain organized parts room and support technicians in field and shop.
• Train and develop PSC parts personnel.
• Manage standardized parts master in Parts Management System.
• Establish minimum and maximum inventory levels.

Job Overview:Q3 Contracting, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry.It’s an exciting time to join Q3 Contracting as a PARTS COORDINATOR in our Little Canada, MN shop!As a parts coordinator, you will carry out various administrative and fleet management tasks including parts management, procurement, process implementation, GPS telematics device management, and other systems deployed across Primoris Services Corporation. You will generate, distribute, and follow up on scheduled reports related to parts purchases, inventory, and explanations for program exceptions. The parts coordinator ensures standardization of the parts activities across multiple business units and geographic regions.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Oversees the parts ordering, procurement, inventory management, warranty, and distribution of PSC repair parts, shop supplies, and maintenance parts for all business units, field and in shop.Controls all minimum and maximum parts inventory for shop and field locations.Negotiates with the assistance of the National Accounts management, all parts/tire/maintenance contracts with the PSC preferred vendors.Manages the parts warranty process with all vendors and ensures that PSC parts credits and refunds have been collected.Keeps assigned parts room in a clean and manageable order.Ensures that logistical hallenges are met in the field to minimize downtime and efficiencies for PSC field and resident technicians.Oversees training and development of their PSC parts personnel.Management of standardized parts master in Parts Management System. (TBA)Establishment of minimum and maximum parts on and for their inventory.Handles all parts for Techs in the shop or fieldRequirements: Experience in parts sales or auto and equipment sales is preferred Ability to follow instructions and processes and communicate effectivelyHave sound knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficient. Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situations. Ability to maintain and protect confidential information.
