Primoris Heavy Civil in Gonzales, LA is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support the Fleet Operations team by managing inventory, procurement, and distribution of parts for vehicles and equipment.

You will oversee min/max levels, handle warranties with vendors, and standardize parts processes across units. Strong inventory experience and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in parts inventory management, preferably in a heavy equipment or fleet environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle and heavy equipment parts and components.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the parts ordering, procurement, inventory management, warranty, and distribution of PSC repair parts, shop supplies, and maintenance parts for all business units; field and in shop.
• Controls all min/max parts inventory for shop and field locations.
• Negotiate parts/tire/maintenance contracts with PSC preferred vendors.
• Manages the parts warranty process with vendors and ensures credits/refunds are collected.
• Keeps assigned parts room clean and organized.
• Ensures logistics in the field minimize downtime for PSC technicians.
• Oversees training and development of PSC parts personnel.
• Establishes min/max of parts on hand for inventory.
• Handles all parts for technicians in the shop or field.

Job Overview:Position OverviewThe Parts Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Fleet Operations team in Gonzales, LA, by efficiently managing the inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts for vehicles and equipment. Carries out various administrative and fleet management tasks including parts management, procurement, process implementation, GPS telematics device management, and other systems deployed across Primoris Services Corporation. Generates, distributes, and follows up on scheduled reports related to parts purchases, inventory, and explanations for program exceptions.
