Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a parts counter sales associate to assist customers, identify needs, and upsell parts at the front desk. You will process transactions, answer calls, and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely repairs.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, maintaining inventory, placing replenishment orders, scheduling service as needed, and upkeeping a professional front-office environment while providing exceptional customer service and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the parts counter with a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts.
• Process parts transactions accurately at the cash register and in My Trailer Force (MTF).
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound sales follow-ups.
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments.
• Maintain organized inventory and stock levels; monitor min/max levels.
• Place orders to replenish stock and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with service department to order parts for service jobs.
• Assist in service scheduling.
• Maintain the appearance and organization of the office and facility.
