Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks a Partner Success Engineer to own end-to-end partner integrations. You’ll ensure API contracts, SLAs, and data pipelines meet enterprise needs, collaborating across engineering, data, and partnerships.

You will drive architecture for high-throughput, asynchronous integrations, engage with executive stakeholders, and mentor teams on scalable, reliable solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Mountain View, CA, with startup-like autonomy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with partner engineering or external API integration.
• Deep expertise in REST/gRPC APIs, HTTP, rate limiting, OAuth 2.0 and API keys.
• Experience partnering with enterprise customers as the technical lead for integrations.

Responsibilities

• Be the DRI for partner success from sandbox onboarding to production.
• Maintain API reliability, latency, uptime, and SLA compliance.
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerts for data product health.
• Translate partner requirements into technical specs and roadmap items.
• Collaborate with core engineering to harden APIs and optimize pipelines.
• Maintain developer docs, playbooks, and escalation paths.
