Yahoo Mail is building Data Products—externalizing high-signal data as partner-ready APIs and data feeds. We are seeking a Partner Success Engineer to own end-to-end partner integrations, ensuring API contracts are met and SLAs honored.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and partnerships. You will drive onboarding from sandbox to production, monitor data feeds, and translate partner needs into actionable specs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with partner/API integrations.
• Deep expertise with REST/gRPC, HTTP, OAuth 2.0, API keys.
• Experience with enterprise partners as technical POC.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-throughput streaming.
• Ability to debug asynchronous systems under pressure and communicate status clearly.

Responsibilities

• DRI for partner success from sandbox onboarding to production optimization.
• Maintain API reliability, performance, latency, uptime, and SLA compliance across external feeds.
• Establish proactive monitoring, logging, and automated alerting for data product health.
• Translate partner requirements into actionable technical specifications and roadmap items.
• Partner with core engineering to harden APIs and optimize streaming pipelines.
• Maintain developer documentation, integration playbooks, diagrams, and escalation paths.
