Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Partner Success Engineer to own end-to-end partner integrations for Yahoo Mail’s data platform, ensuring API contracts, SLAs, and partner value are delivered.

This role sits at the crossroads of engineering, data, and partnerships, requiring proactive ownership and strong collaboration with enterprise teams and executives. You will drive reliability, specify data contracts, and mentor teams while shaping scalable, partner-ready data feeds and APIs in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with partner engineering or external API integration.
• Experience with enterprise partnerships as primary technical point of contact.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-throughput data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact and DRI for partner success from onboarding to production optimization.
• Maintain API reliability, performance, latency, uptime, and SLA compliance across feeds and integrations.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and automated alerting for data product health to preempt issues.
• Translate partner requirements into actionable specifications and roadmap items.
• Collaborate with core engineering to harden APIs and optimize streaming pipelines.
• Maintain developer docs, integration playbooks, and escalation paths.
