Job summary

Yahoo Mail is seeking a Partner Success Engineer to own end-to-end partner integrations for its data platform. You will ensure API contracts are met, SLAs honored, and enterprise partners maximize value from Yahoo Mail data feeds.

You will work across engineering, data, and partnerships to debug, monitor, and improve high-scale integrations, with ownership for reliability and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with partner engineering, solutions architecture, or external API integration.
• Deep technical expertise with REST/gRPC APIs, HTTP protocols, rate limiting, authentication frameworks (OAuth 2.0, API keys).
• Proven experience interfacing with enterprise partners as the primary technical contact for complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact and DRI for technical partner success, from onboarding to production optimization.
• Maintain API reliability, performance, latency, uptime, and strict SLA compliance across external feeds.
• Establish proactive monitoring, logging, and automated alerting for data product health to resolve issues before impact.
• Translate complex partner requirements into actionable specifications and internal roadmap items.
• Partner with core engineering to harden APIs, optimize streaming pipelines, and refine data contracts.
• Maintain developer documentation, integration playbooks, architecture diagrams, and escalation paths.
