Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy for rapid partner growth across government, education, and healthcare. You will own end-to-end architectures spanning compute, data, AI/ML, and migrations, guiding executives and partners toward successful implementations.

This role requires deep AWS expertise, the ability to influence multi-stakeholder roadmaps, and a passion for evangelizing best practices across teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for rapidly scaling partners within state and local government, education, non-profit, and/or healthcare domains.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, analytics, etc.
• Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures.
• Provide thought leadership and capture best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Collaborate with world-class sales and business development teams to drive partner success.
