Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to assist behavioral therapists in creating effective behavioral therapy programs for children and adolescents.

You will implement service plans and provide interventions in home and community settings, ensuring safety and positive behavioral practices. Your work will involve monitoring youth behavior, documenting observations, and developing engaging activities to support emotional and social growth in a nurturing home

Qualifications

• College degree with one year of experience or a HS Diploma/GED
• Minimum of three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans
• Experience teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized service plans and provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings
• Actively manage youth with behavioral challenges and ensure a safe, supportive environment with safety standards
• Instruct youth on positive behavioral practices
