Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to support behavioral therapy programs for children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will travel to clients\' homes, implement plans, and document progress in collaboration with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• College degree with one year of experience or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with both the children and their families.
• Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist behavioral therapists to create effective behavioral therapy programs tailored to children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized service plans and provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
• Monitor and document observations of youth behavior, and modify activities to align with goals.
• Develop engaging recreational activities supporting emotional and social growth while maintaining a safe environment.
