Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to help children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will travel to homes, support behavioral therapy programs, and collaborate with families and professionals to ensure consistency and progress.

You will implement individualized plans, document observations, and develop safe, engaging activities that promote growth and well-being while maintaining a compassionate, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree and at least 1 year of experience in applied behavioral support.
• Experience teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication with families and collaborating professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist behavioral therapists to create individualized behavioral therapy programs for children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized service plans and behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
• Monitor and document youth behavior and modify activities to align with therapeutic goals.
• Develop and run engaging recreational activities to support emotional and social growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment consistent with behavioral plans.
