Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. invites you to join as a Part-Time Individual Support Worker, serving children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will support behavioral therapists, implement service plans, document observations, and help youth develop daily living skills while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. A college degree with one year of experience or a high school diploma/GED plus three years of supervised experience in

Qualifications

College degree with one year of experience or a high school diploma/GED.
Minimum of three years of supervised experience in positive behavior support.
Experience teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with IDD.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while following established protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist therapists to create behavioral therapy programs.
Implement individualized service plans in home and community settings.
Monitor and document observations of youth behavior.
Develop engaging recreational activities supporting emotional growth.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for youth.
