Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to assist behavioral therapists in creating tailored programs for children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will work in home settings, implementing service plans and safety standards while fostering positive behavioral practices. You will monitor youth behavior, document observations, and develop engaging activities to support emotional and social growth, ensuring a safe environment for

Qualifications

College degree with one year of experience or a High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum three years of supervised experience implementing positive behavior support plans.
Experience teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist behavioral therapists to create behavioral therapy programs tailored to children and adolescents.
Implement individualized service plans and behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
Monitor observations and modify activities to meet therapeutic goals.
Develop engaging recreational activities while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
