Job summary

Town Of Glastonbury in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a part-time IT support specialist to manage web conferencing, assist users, and prepare recordings for publication. The role requires hosting meetings after 5 PM and occasional coverage of other public sessions.

Under the IT Director, you will troubleshoot devices, coordinate meeting logistics, and train staff on conferencing tools while maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external users.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows-based computers, current Windows OS, and Internet browser connectivity on Apple and Android devices.
• Experience with Web conferencing applications.
• Ability to diagnose computer-related problems and explain solutions to end users accessibly.
• Ability to relate positively to staff and the public; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots web conferencing problems for panelists and attendees on various devices.
• Arranges full and hybrid meetings; coordinates pre-production details with presenters or staff.
• Prepares recorded meetings for publication and archives recordings per state rules.
• Maintains knowledge of web conferencing tech and trains staff.
• Supports a respectful, safe work environment with strong service to customers.
