Job summary

CT Orthopaedics is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist for our Orange Urgent Care. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and assist our patients and other visitors.

Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, and processing paperwork. LOCATION & SCHEDULE: Orange, CT; Saturday 8:45am-4:00pm and Sunday 8:45am-1:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or Medical Administrative certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years front desk experience in medical practice with EMR and insurance authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, check in patients, verify insurance
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the EMR
• Determine fees and process co-pays, record information
• Maintain cash and balance cash drawer per procedure
