Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in San Jose, CA. You will patrol residential communities, monitor access points, assist residents and staff, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms and concerns, providing exceptional customer service, and following site-specific procedures with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to residents, guests and visitors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel or responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and policy violations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, visitors and leadership.
