Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in San Jose, CA. You will patrol a busy food and beverage marketplace, maintain a visible presence, and deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to visitors, vendors, and tenants while following site policies.
• Perform regular foot/vehicle patrols to deter incidents and monitor areas.
• Quickly assess and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy food and beverage marketplace.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of vendor areas, entrances, parking lots, perimeter locations, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and crowd activity, assist with traffic and parking flow as directed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site representatives, visitors, and vendors.
