Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Documentation Security Officer in Fairfax, VA. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver customer service while maintaining security procedures.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, eligibility for background checks, and the ability to work DayTime Sat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM. The position offers part-time hours with opportunities to advance through our Claim a Shift

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted utility locations by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe conditions that may affect utility operations or site access, report maintenance or security-related concerns, and maintain accurate daily activity documentation.
