Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Fairfax, VA. You’ll provide on-site security, perform regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters, monitor access, verify credentials, and document incidents with professional communication.

The position requires a valid license, basic computer use, and strong customer service. Work schedule Saturdays and Sundays, with a competitive hourly pay rate and a path to growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a utility location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations and communicate information to site leadership and supervision.
