Allied Universal in Reston, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Driver Patrol). The role supports aerospace/defense client sites with patrols, access control, and customer service. Schedule is Sat-Sun 06:00–14:00; pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor and report security conditions and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs.
