Job summary

Allied Universal in Fairfax, VA is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol) to safeguard facilities and provide exceptional customer service. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and document observations using our technology.

This role emphasizes reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. The schedule includes day and weekend shifts with competitive pay of $18.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor/contractor credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests and critical situations calmly and in line with emergency procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards and access-control issues to site contacts and leadership.
