Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Falls Church, VA. This part-time role involves patrolling retail/mall locations, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive are required for driving duties.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with access control, and maintaining professional communication with tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.
