Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
