Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) to protect people and property at a technology-focused site. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and deliver friendly, professional service to employees and visitors.

The role offers a flexible daytime schedule, competitive pay of $16.48 per hour, and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform. Prior customer service and comfort with using a tablet are desirable.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol activities and communicate with site leadership.
