Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC seeks a Security Officer, Part Time Unarmed Customer Support at a technology location. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and patrol to deter incidents while upholding safety and integrity.

Hours are limited to a part-time schedule (Wed 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM, Sun 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM) with opportunities to grow through our Shift-claim platform and ongoing training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and document observations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas and perimeters.
• Monitor entry points and verify visitor access; maintain logs.
• Assist with directions and communicate clearly with site contacts and leadership.
