Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide exceptional customer service, verify credentials at access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the use of tablet/computer tools to support security operations at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and other irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
