Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Visitor Guidance to safeguard employees and visitors across a tech/telecom location. You will patrol, manage access, and provide courteous service while documenting activities.

This role emphasizes flexibility, a schedule that includes daytime shifts, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. A high school diploma and background check are required; 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, office areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct guests, deliveries, and contractors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related observations, and shift handoffs.
