Job summary

Allied Universal in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our platform, supporting a reliable base schedule and potential full-time hours.

The position pays $21.25 per hour, with daytime hours from 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM. The program rewards flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to gain experience across multiple sites within the healthcare security

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, and facility concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and response activities accurately and communicate information to site leadership.
