Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Logs in Arlington, VA. The role provides fixed shift hours with optional extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

Pay rate is $21.75 per hour with a schedule that includes DayTime and Sat shifts. This position emphasizes reliability, customer service, and adherence to site procedures while supporting incident response and reports.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
