Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Brooklyn, NY. This flexible position offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to provide reliable hours and potential higher earnings.

Pay rate ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. The role supports a schedule that can lead to up to 40 hours per week, with responsibilities including patient, visitor, and staff security, incident reporting, and routine patrols in

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff traffic, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
