Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Williamsburg, VA to support our clients with professional security services. The role offers a fixed-shift schedule, a six-month commitment, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to grow earnings.

Responsibilities include delivering customer service, monitoring access, patrolling facility areas, and reporting security incidents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and facility personnel per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Observe and report unusual conditions to site contacts and supervision.
