Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Michigan for a part-time role. You will perform unarmed patrols at a utilities location, support access control, and provide friendly, professional security services while acting as a visible deterrent.

This position requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work varying shifts including nights and weekends, and at least one year of security experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling as a Branch Flex employee.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.
