Job summary

Rubicon Theatre Company is seeking a Part-time Guest Service Associate to support patrons in-person and by phone, and to maintain ticketing data accuracy. The role combines weekday daytime office hours with evening Will Call check-in, requiring professional communication and a self-starting work ethic.

Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour, with negotiation possible based on experience. Hours total up to 16–20 per week, with shifts that may include unsupervised periods.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently during solo, unsupervised shifts.
• Experience with ticketing databases and clerical processing.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the organization with patrons in-person and on the phone.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the ticketing database following established protocols.
• Assist with Will Call, ticket processing, and seating assignments.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
• Support seasonal subscription drives and mail/day-to-day office tasks.
• Record income using the ticketing system and balance daily reports.
• Distribute mail and support outbound sales campaigns as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
