Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations and ensure policies are followed. You will be cross-trained across departments, coaching team members and supporting the General Manager to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

This role offers opportunities to advance through Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program, with focus on teamwork, safety and operational excellence across all areas of the theatre.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (three basic courses).
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications where required.
• Management members handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Excellent Guest service and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager direction and supports staff communication.
• Works across departments and trains team members in job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness and quality standards in theatre operations.
• Interacts with guests to provide superior customer service and enforce guidelines.
• Trains and leads others, resolves conflicts, and maintains high ethical standards.
