Marcus Theatres Corporation in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a busy theatre environment and ensure high standards of food quality and safety.

You will train, supervise, and schedule staff, manage banquet and restaurant prep, and maintain cleanliness and proper storage, with a focus on consistent presentation and waste reduction. This is a part-time role in a dynamic entertainment setting.

Formación

• Minimum of two years' supervisory/management experience in a similar size operation.
• 2-3 years as a lead cook prior to management.
• Thorough working knowledge of food preparation.
• Strong knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience with kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors).
• Basic math skills for recipes, measurements and portions.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily line operation and staffing for events and shows.
• Prepare all food items for banquet and restaurant use per recipes.
• Inspect taste, color, and presentation to ensure quality.
• Schedule staff for functions, shows, and forecasts.
• Supervise and train assigned staff; discipline as needed.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, storage and freshness of items.
• Rotate stock to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all work areas.
• Handle special orders and food delivery requests per guidelines.
• Maintain banquet event orders and food delivery records.
