Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to enhance our theatre dining experience. You will oversee daily line operations, train and supervise staff, and ensure high standards of food preparation, safety, and presentation for banquet and restaurant use.

The role requires experience in supervisory positions, knowledge of recipes, and strong sanitation practices. You will coordinate staffing for events and ensure proper ordering, receiving, and storage of food supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ supervisory/manager experience in a similar operation.
• 2-3 years as a lead cook prior to management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily line operation.
• Prepare all food items for banquet and restaurant use according to recipes.
• Inspect taste, color, and presentation to maintain appeal.
• Schedule staff for banquet functions and shows.
• Supervise staff including training and discipline.
• Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of food items.
• Rotate food to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain banquet orders and delivery requests.
• Attend in conformance with policy standards.
