Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation's Stewartstown Branch is seeking a Part Time Teller to support our customer experience with accurate cash handling and efficient service. The role requires 25 hours weekly with a rotating schedule Mon–Sat, including two Saturdays per month.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of retail or customer service experience and be comfortable using digital tools to demonstrate self-service options, balance transactions, and assist in maintaining a secure, compliant branch

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience, including data entry or cash handling.
Bilingual based on branch needs.

Responsibilities

Adhere to customer service standards and deliver a differentiated experience.
Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
Engage in lobby management, meet and greet customers and address immediate needs.
Balance and process customer transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
Escalate and log customer complaints until resolution.
Transition sales opportunities to banking partners when appropriate.
Perform branch operational tasks (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
Complete AML/BSA/KYC related activities and maintain compliance controls.
