Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Teller to support customer service and the processing of deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. You will handle cash with accuracy, adhere to policies, and promote banking products to deepen customer relationships.

In this role you will welcome customers, manage cash drawer, and use digital tools to guide self-service options, including occasional support across nearby branches. Weekend/evening hours may be required to meet branch needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months cash handling experience required.
• 6+ months customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to identify and elevate concerns of risk through appropriate channels.
• Follow directions, policies and procedures with attention to detail.
• Effective listening and clear communication; comfortable with digital tools.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; accurate with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated customer service by greeting customers, reducing wait times, and assisting with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to bank policies and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
• Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen relationships.
• Educate customers on self-service options using digital tools.
