YMCA of Greater Boston seeks an enthusiastic Swim Instructor I & II to teach swim lessons under the YMCA model at the Burbank YMCA. This part-time, non-exempt role requires lifeguard certifications and experience working with children. You will deliver engaging lessons, ensure safety, and report student progress to parents.

The position emphasizes reliable attendance, punctuality, and collaboration with the Aquatics team. Knowledge of safety procedures and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Active lifeguard certifications required (YMCA/Red Cross preferred).
• Experience teaching swim lessons to children.
• Able to maintain safety and adhere to pool rules and YMCA policies.

Responsabilités

• Teach swim lessons following YMCA model.
• Ensure class safety and monitor all students at all times.
• Communicate progress with parents and maintain attendance records.
