Job summary

YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach lessons under the YMCA of the USA model at East Boston. You will work under the Aquatics Director to help children learn swimming, practice safety, and engage families in progress updates.

Applicants should be 16+, no prior experience required, and ready to complete required trainings such as CPR/First Aid and YMCA certifications. Shifts may include mornings and weekends, with a focus on safe, engaging aquatic instruction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service by exceeding member expectations.
• Report on the deck 15 minutes before the scheduled shift dressed in a bathing suit.
• Have equipment ready before your class and store it promptly after your class.
