The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking Lifeguard I & II for the Burbank YMCA. This part-time role ensures member safety by guarding the pool, enforcing rules and responding to emergencies.

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, you will perform CPR/First Aid, assist with pool maintenance, and participate in monthly in-service trainings. Must be at least 18 and hold active lifeguard certifications.

Formación

• Must have active Lifeguard Certifications (e.g. YMCA, Red Cross).

Responsabilidades

• Guard the pool and prevent emergencies by scanning continuously.
• Address emergencies immediately and enforce pool rules.
• Provide CPR, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen as needed.
• Complete incident reports promptly and professionally.
• Assist with pool cleaning and testing when not on stand.
• Attend monthly and yearly in-service trainings.
