Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program; certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the OR and assist the physician.
• Assist with instrument care, counts, and turnover with RN Circulator.
• Prepare supplies and equipment prior to procedures based on the card and case requirements.
• Report any abnormal events and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
